Kristina M. MacBury, CEO
Kris has been working in education for over twenty years, both in the classroom, as a principal, consultant, author and speaker with a focus in education reform and School Happiness Agency. Kris is a Nationally recognized Principal as one of the 2018 NASSP’s - Digital Principal of the Year and in 2017 was named a Top 30 Technologist, Transformer and Trailblazer at the Center for Digital Education. Using technology to create opportunities to build student and staff happiness and overall well-being has been Kris’ passion. As a co-mom of 10, Kris holds a unique perspective as a leader, sharing the critical responsibility of cultivating an environment where her personal and professional children have opportunities to thrive in their overall happiness, well-being and success while understanding the importance of modeling self-care. (What you fill is what you spill). Kris holds a BA degree in Secondary Education from St. Francis University, and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Cheyney University.
Sherry L. MacBury, Ed.D., COO
Sherry has been working in the educational sphere for over twenty years, providing leadership, professional development and coaching services for schools and school systems, as well as serving as a strategic partner to help build capacity and improve practice. A former teacher, high-school counselor, high school principal and district-level administrator, she focuses on 1-1 coaching and holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership & Policy. Navigating the challenges of being a mom to 10 children, Sherry appreciates and empathizes with parents experiences with children with mental health challenges and realizes the need to end the stigma surrounding these difficulties and building a community of support.
